Silver Prices Slightly Increased on September 5 [SMM Daily Review]

The US July JOLTS job openings were reported at 7.673 million, lower than the previous value of 7.91 million and the expected value of 8.1 million, which is bullish for silver. Today, silver prices slightly increased, with the opening price of spot silver at $28.256 per ounce. The ex-factory reference average price of SMM 1# silver in the morning was 7,085 yuan per kilogram, an increase of 41 yuan per kilogram from yesterday, with a growth rate of 0.6%. According to SMM, today's cash spot price for national standard silver ingots in Shanghai was quoted at 1-3 yuan per kilogram, while large manufacturers quoted 4-5 yuan per kilogram. The market quotes were polarized with significant price differences, and each company quoted differently based on their inventory and sales needs. The market transactions were normal, with activity decreasing compared to the previous two days.
